Hello there!

We’re a couple of long-time friends who are dishing up deliciousness for our listeners. On each episode of A Seasoned Friendship, we’ll have a conversation about our favorite subject – FOOD. We’ll talk about everything from our most treasured recipes to the latest discovery of an ingredient, cooking technique, or kitchen gadget.

Robert Meyers-Lussier

I’ve had the great fortune to have cooked professionally in several capacities. I got my start in catering. Since then, I’ve taught cooking classes and have had a local TV show that I produced and co-hosted. I’ve even had the opportunity to review restaurants for two local publications. All my years of cooking culminated in a cookbook called “This Is Delicious! What Is It?

Currently, I live in Denver, Colorado where I conduct software training and provide best practices consulting for my Legal Technology clients. I’m also an award-winning photographer! When I’m not pursuing either of those passions, I work on developing recipes to add to the second edition of my cookbook. My love of cooking revolves around experimentation with flavor profiles as well as the development of recipes from around the world.

Lori Bregenzer

I’m an avid home cook who’s spent most of my life in search of the next great recipe. I’m now enjoying semi-retirement after spending nearly 30 years working in Legal Technology – which, by the way, is how I met Bob! I currently own and operate a small Take-Away Eatery called Comfort Cuisine by Lolly located in the beautiful, historic Mississippi River town of Alton, IL. Each week I get to unleash my passion for new recipes on hungry customers.

Although I’m not professionally trained, I inherited a passion for food and cooking from the many people in my life who REALLY know how to put a delicious meal on the table. Together with my Brother, we grew up in the kitchen alongside our Mom, Grandmothers, and Aunt absorbing their vast knowledge and learning their recipes. More recently, my Mother-in-Law and I have bonded over many recipes and stories about food. And I’m quite fortunate that my Husband enjoys cooking too! We’ve spent countless hours enjoying cocktails while making a simple weeknight dinner together in our outdoor kitchen. Together, we’ve planned and cooked many extravagant parties for family and friends. And we often come back from a trip with a new favorite dish that we work together to recreate. It’s safe to say that my life truly revolves around food and the memories we make with it.
