
Hamburger Stroganoff
This savory dish comes together in 30 minutes or less and is guaranteed to become a weeknight go-to.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Rotini
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Small Onion diced
- 1 Pkg Fresh Mushrooms sliced, or use 1 can sliced mushrooms drained
- 2 Teaspoons Fresh Thyme or 1 tsp dried Thyme
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Pound Ground Beef extra lean
- 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 8 Ounces Sour Cream
- 2 Tablespoons Dried Parsley
Instructions
- Start a pot of water boiling. Salt the water and cook the noodles according to directions for al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While noodles are cooking, melt butter in a large pan. Add onion and mushrooms and saute 5 – 10 minutes until onion is translucent. Stir in thyme and worcestershire sauce.
- Add ground beef to pan and brown, breaking into small pieces. Stir in soup and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add cooked noodles, mix well. Stir in sour cream and dried parsley. Heat through and serve.
Notes
We always eat this dish with a small salad and canned crescent rolls. Quick, satisfying, and delicious!
