Scottish Bed & Breakfast Peaches
A delightful dessert, or appetizer, mixing creamy Boursin cheese and fresh grilled peaches inspired by an overnight stay in Scotland.
- 15 Oz Can Peach Halves drained
- 1 Container Boursin Cheese I prefer Cracked Pepper flavor
- 1 Teaspoon Stone Ground Mustard
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 1 Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded
Coat a small baking dish with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drain peaches and place cut side up in the prepared baking dish.
Mix together remaining ingredients. Fill each peach half with approximately a tablespoon of cheese mixture. Bake 15 minutes or until slightly brown and bubbly.
Give this a try with fresh, Summer peaches!
Simply brush peeled peach halves with melted butter and grill on each side for about 5 minutes.
Then fill with Boursin Cheese mixture and bake.
